The Japan International Cooperation Agency Tsukuba Center’s FY2021 Program “Improvement of Rice Cultivation Techniques (B)” has been successfully completed.
On November 10, the last day of their visit to T-PIRC, the participants planned a tasting party of the rice grown and harvested.
They tasted indica rice, NERICA, and Japan rice that they cultivated over a year, and had a great time doing “mochitsuki,” a traditional food of the Japan. Technical Participants of A course (English), Training Instructors and, JICA training staff also joined this party.,
The closing ceremony was held at JICA Tsukuba on November 11, and the Technical Participants have returned to their home countries! We wish you all the best in the future!
