Undergraduate students of the School of Life and Environmental Sciences English Learning Program visit T-PIRC farm

On September 28, 2020 (Wednesday), 18 undergraduate students of the School of Life and Environmental Sciences English Learning Program and one accompanying teacher toured the T-PIRC farm.

After receiving an explanation using video in the lecture room of the T-PIRC farm, they toured the fields and facilities of the T-PIRC farm. It was the season of autumn harvest, and the students were eagerly looking at the harvest of rice and fruit trees such as pears and kiwis, which they saw for the first time in Japan. I believe that the T-PIRC farm provided an opportunity to think about Japanese food culture and food production.
