From April 16 to 24, 2022, the “Primrose exhibition” was held at the Tsukuba Botanical Garden. Tsukuba-Plant Innovation Research Center (T-PIRC) hosted the exhibition as a special exhibition of its collection, and primrose (Primula sieboldii ) cultivars grown in the T-PIRC farm and primrose cultivars grown by “University of Tsukuba Primrose cultivars Foster Parents Association” were displayed. The association is a foster parent system established in February 2005 by University of Tsukuba and Tsukuba Urban Gardening (TUG), an NPO, with the cooperation of citizens, for the purpose of conservation and maintenance of the valuable primrose cultivars.
