Overseas Internship / Agricultural, Food and Environment
2) Objective
We report on the conditions and outcomes of training programs in the areas of food, the environment, bioresources, and food production.
We use information from businesses, universities, and laboratories conducting global operations and internships overseas, particularly in Southeast Asia,
a region increasingly receptive to Japanese food production technologies and with which close relationships are expected going forward.
We also discuss the opinions of experts from national research institutes on new training programs for nurturing students who thrive in industry,
government, and academia in the future. We draw connections with the nurturing of personnel capable of building new global innovations.

■Participant wanted：
The poster session in Ag-ESD Symposium 2016/TGSW2016 will be held on September 19, 2016 at Laboratory of Advanced Research A, University of Tsukuba. Graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to participate by submitting a high quality, original poster on a subject related to “Sustainable Development: Agriculture, Food and Environment”. Posters must be in English.
Posters will be judged by the invited participants and awards for the best poster presentations will be presented.
Please submit a one page (A4) abstract describing your proposed poster presentation in the format outlined in the instructions for posters at “Registration Form for Poster Presentation” by July 14, 2016 to the organizing committee of Ag-ESD Symposium 2016/TGSW2016（agesd (at) nourin.tsukuba.ac.jp).
Attendance is free but funding is not available to support travel or expenses of general participants.
